Foreign Trained Healthcare Worker Grant Opportunity - Deadline postmarked by April 19th!
Funds from this application round are targeted to assist foreign trained healthcare professionals who are unemployed, dislocated or incumbent low wage workers obtain their healthrcare credentials/certification in the United States. Funds are also available to help individuals obtain their medical interpreting credentials or certification. To be considered for funding, applicants must live in Maine, be at least 18 years of age, eligible to work in the United States. If they are pursuing a credential/certification other than medical interpreting, they must hold or have held a health care credential in a foreign country.
